PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE: Pirates Open Expanded Clubhouse Store at PNC Park
A day after the arrival of heralded prospect Henry Davis, the Pirates once again are trying to up their game — this time off the field.
The team officially opened a new clubhouse store on the Federal Street side of PNC Park on Tuesday — 8,450 square feet of jerseys, caps, T-shirts, hoodies, pennants, baseballs, foam swords and other Pirates-themed merchandise certain to make cash registers ring.
And, in a first of its kind, the new space — more than double the size of the old one — features a Topps baseball card station where fans can make their own customized baseball cards.
