As President of Specialty Business and New Ventures, Zohar leads Fanatics’ non-apparel businesses, including memorabilia and hardgoods, and oversees potential new strategic growth initiatives for Fanatics Commerce. Prior to this, Zohar served as SVP, Head of Global Corporate Development for Fanatics, where he was responsible for evaluating and driving strategic growth initiatives, including potential M&A, external investments, and internal projects across the various Fanatics businesses. In this role Zohar helped Fanatics’ entry into new industries and capabilities, including Trading Cards, Sports Betting, Live Selling, Events, and various geographical and brand expansions for the Commerce business.
Prior to leading Corporate Development, Zohar spent several years in leadership positions with Fanatics International, where he led the relationships with some of the biggest global sports leagues and teams and drove the growth strategy. Zohar also formed the China JV with Hillhouse Capital and expanded the international footprint outside of Europe during his time. Prior to joining Fanatics in 2018, Zohar helped found a growth equity fund focused on sustainability and spent over a decade in investment banking, covering over $80 billion of closed transaction values. Zohar received his bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas, where he graduated first in his class with highest distinction.
