Chief Merchandising Officer - Fanatics Commerce

Sam Archibald currently serves as Chief Merchandising Officer for Fanatics Commerce, where he oversees the strategic direction of all merchandising efforts across Fanatics’ online and offline channels. Before joining Fanatics, Archibald was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Apparel at Macy’s. In this role, he oversaw the apparel strategy for men’s, women’s, activewear, and kids' categories, with a focus on elevating brand presence and increasing market share.

Prior to his time at Macy’s, Archibald was President of Retail North America for Calvin Klein, where he directed merchandising, planning, allocation, marketing, visual, and store operations for both full-price and outlet stores across the U.S. and Canada. Archibald’s retail career began at Macy’s, where he spent over 11 years in a variety of roles, including leading divisions in the Home Store and the Men’s Business.

A graduate of Mount Allison University, Archibald has been an active contributor to the industry. Since 2017, he has served on the board of the Fashion Scholarship Fund, is Chair of the UJA Fashion Division, and is a member of the Father's Day Council.
