SPORTS BUSINESS JOURNAL: Rubin, Travis Scott kick off college merch tour

Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin and rapper Travis Scott last night at midnight kicked off their college campus tour promoting the "Jack Goes Back to College" merch collection that was launched recently with Fanatics, Mitchell & Ness and Lids. The three-campus tour began last night at LSU, where Rubin and Scott earlier in the night met with the LSU football team. Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels, and LSU women’s basketball players Angel Reese and Flau’jae Johnson were all present and worked registers as fans bought first pieces of merch from the Cactus Jack brand. Rubin and Scott later today will visit the Univ. of Texas and USC for similar events. The collection drops today at 1pm ET..
