With nearly three decades of communications experience across sports, business and entertainment, Meier oversees internal and external communications across all business units of Fanatics, which includes strategic communications, public relations and corporate social responsibility efforts for the organization globally.
Prior to joining Fanatics in 2012, Meier spent two years at NBC Sports Group, serving as Vice President of Communications where he created measurable results for NBC Sports’ NFL, NHL, Olympics and regional sports network properties. Previously, he was Vice President of Communications at VERSUS where he led all business and programming communications efforts for Comcast’s primary sports cable network. He also held senior communications positions at Chicagoland Speedway and at the NYC-based public relations firm Taylor.
