Fanatics Completes Acquisition of Licensed Sports Group Business from VF Corporation

SILICON VALLEY – May 1, 2017 – Fanatics, a global leader of licensed sports merchandise, today announced it has completed the acquisition of VF Corporation’s (NYSE: VFC) Licensed Sports Group (LSG).  VF’s LSG business, which includes the Majestic® brand, supplies apparel and fan wear through licensing agreements with U.S. and international professional sports leagues and teams.

This announcement follows the April 4, 2017, news release in which VF announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement with Fanatics regarding the sale of its LSG business.
