Matthias serves as the Interim Chief Technology Officer for Fanatics Commerce, where he oversees the business' global technology strategies and execution. This includes the continued growth and innovation of product development and data capabilities for both the consumer and partner side of the business.

Prior to this role, Matthias was the Chief Architect for Fanatics Commerce,  where he led the teams responsible for ensuring that the technology developed over the past 10 years was foundationally solid, scalable, and well-integrated into the business' greater technology ecosystem. Before Fanatics, Matthias spent several years as Chief Engineer for global e-commerce company eBay Inc. He started his career as an engineer after receiving his degree from ISBE Ingenieurschule Bern. Originally from Switzerland, Matthias is based in San Mateo, CA.e.
