WWD: Fanatics Commerce’s New CEO Beefs Up Management Team

Fanatics is adding to its C-suite.

The global digital sports platform has named three executives to the management arm at its Fanatics Commerce division, which oversees the design, manufacture and sale of fan gear.

Stephen Dowling has been named to the new role of president, international and will be responsible for growing Fanatics Commerce’s business outside of North America. The overseas business has grown significantly in recent years, with the company now operating more than 80 offices, manufacturing facilities and fulfillment centers globally. Dowling, who will be based out of Fanatics’ Manchester, U.K., office, was most recently at Adidas, where he served as senior vice president of digital growth for the past six years and before that was global vice president of digital growth and brand marketing for the German company for nearly four years.
