Launch to Include Special Discount for Buccaneers Season Pass Members from March 1-3

TAMPA, FL (March 1, 2019) – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Fanatics, the global leader for licensed sports merchandise, today announced a new long-term, omnichannel retail partnership. Under the deal, Fanatics will become the exclusive operator of online and in-venue retail for the Bucs and have launched an enhanced mobile-friendly e-commerce platform for the team at Shop.Buccaneers.com.

Fanatics will also take over all retail locations inside of Raymond James Stadium, ultimately providing Buccaneers fans with the most comprehensive selection of team apparel and merchandise ever offered on gameday and beyond – whether shopping online, on their phone or at Buccaneers Team Store outlets throughout Raymond James Stadium.

“Fanatics is the industry leader in retail and e-commerce solutions for sports licensed merchandise, and this new partnership will completely change the way Buccaneer fans purchase their team merchandise,” said Buccaneers Chief Operating Officer Brian Ford. “In addition to its global profile in the sports retail industry, Fanatics also maintains a strong local presence with its apparel division here in the Tampa Bay area. We look forward to working with Fanatics to create the best retail experience for our fans at Raymond James Stadium as well as online.”

Fanatics’ real-time vertical manufacturing capabilities and agile supply chain – which is driven by the company’s Tampa-based Fanatics Brands apparel division – will ensure Bucs fans have access to more extensive assortments of high-quality team gear and apparel delivered faster than ever before. This proximity will also help Fanatics quickly offer “micro-moment” pieces of apparel for fans to celebrate hot players, record-breaking feats and incredible team moments.

“We’re excited to partner with the Buccaneers and create a new world-class retail offering that combines incredible assortments of merchandise with a seamless shopping experience for their highly passionate fans,” said Fanatics chief commercial officer Cole Gahagan. “Our innovative vertical commerce model will ensure that online and on-site stores remain readily stocked with high-quality products that can be quickly replenished by our local Fanatics Brands team.”

To commemorate the launch of the new partnership, Buccaneers season pass members will receive an additional 10 percent off in addition to their usual 15 percent discount for retail purchases made on Shop.Buccaneers.com between March 1-3.

Fanatics is the NFL’s official e-commerce partner and holds an assortment of online and in-venue relationships with over 20 NFL teams.
