Fanatics and International Champions Cup Announce Expanded Retail Partnership for 2017 Summer Tournament
SILICON VALLEY (March 16, 2017 ) – Fanatics, the global leader for licensed sports merchandise, and the International Champions Cup (ICC) announced today an expanded omnichannel retail partnership for this summer’s highly anticipated 2017 International Champions Cup presented by Heineken featuring some of the world’s most exciting players and globally recognized clubs.
Building off of last year’s partnership, Fanatics will operate in-venue retail for all 12 matches taking place across the U.S., as well as powering the online tournament shop, icc.teamfanshop.com. Global football fans will be provided with an enhanced shopping experience and access to the largest selection of team merchandise and memorabilia both online and at all ICC venues.
The International Champions Cup is the world’s premier summer football tournament, featuring world-class teams from around the globe. The 2017 International Champions Cup presented by Heineken promises to feature the best slate of teams, matchups and venues in the tournament’s history. Headlining this year’s tournament will be the first-ever El Clásico to take place outside of Spain when famed teams Real Madrid C.F. and FC Barcelona meet up in Miami, FL on July 29. Relevent Sports will reveal the entire lineup of world-class teams, venues and matchups for the 2017 tournament at a national launch event in New York City on Tuesday, March 21.
