GLENDALE, ARIZONA (July 30, 2018)- The Arizona Coyotes today announced a multi-year extension with Fanatics, the global leader in licensed sports merchandise, to operate retail stores and kiosks throughout Gila River Arena. The extended partnership will continue to provide Coyotes fans with a seamless shopping experience whether shopping at the game or through online or mobile devices; Fanatics also powers e-commerce for the team through its operation of the League’s official online store, shop.NHL.com.

“We are excited to renew our partnership for multiple years with Fanatics - the leading sports merchandise retailer in the world,” said Coyotes’ President & CEO Ahron Cohen. “Fanatics is aligned with our vision of exceptional customer service, developing innovative apparel lines, and providing the best fan experience possible at our games. We are thrilled to partner with Fanatics as we continue to grow our brand and expand Coyotes fandom throughout the State of Arizona.”

“We’ve experienced a tremendous relationship with the Coyotes for several years and are excited to extend this partnership to continue providing a best-in-class omnichannel retail experience for the team and their passionate, dedicated fan base,” said Cole Gahagan, Fanatics Chief Commercial Officer. “Whether shopping at Gila River Arena, online, or through mobile platforms, Fanatics is committed to providing a seamless, tech-fueled shopping experience featuring the most robust assortment of high-quality Coyotes merchandise for fans to wear proudly.”

The Coyotes and Fanatics also announced today that the Coyotes’ new third jersey, modeled after the classic Kachina design, will be available at the Coyotes Den team store at Gila River Arena beginning on September 8. The Coyotes will wear these iconic jerseys for all 13 Saturday home games this season and also on Black Friday.

Last season Fanatics debuted their new men’s and women’s “Breakaway” fan replica jerseys, which were part of an expanded agreement with the NHL which granted the company a broad range of apparel and headwear rights. The jerseys are designed and manufactured by Fanatics Brands, the company's in-house apparel division, and were created with fan-first features for enhanced comfort and versatility. The new men’s and women’s jerseys have been a big hit amongst fans, making them some of the best-selling Coyotes items sold across all retail channels.
