As President of Fanatics Brands, Raphael is responsible for all aspects of the company’s in-house merchandise division, from product design and creation of a broad range of apparel and jerseys under both the Fanatics and Majestic brands, to wholesale distribution. A licensed partner of all the major sports leagues, this division helps fuel Fanatics’ vertical manufacturing engine, which is built for the on-demand economy and helps the company react quickly to market trends and hot teams/players, better servicing the growing real-time expectations of fans with more unique and innovative products readily available across retail channels. Prior to Fanatics, Raphael had global responsibility for Oakley’s Apparel, Footwear and Accessory business where he oversaw planning, merchandising, design and supply chain for the division. Under his leadership Oakley developed their performance business, gained access to sporting goods and doubled their revenues. Prior to joining Oakley, Raphael spent over seven years with Under Armour where he held various positions, culminating as Senior Vice President, Footwear & Licensing. Raphael obtained a B.A. in International Affairs from Lewis and Clark College.
