As Chief Trading Officer at Fanatics Betting & Gaming, Mark is responsible for overseeing the company’s trading operations for Fanatics Sportsbook. Mark will manage a global team of sports analysts, while devising and implementing the company’s trading risk management strategy and trading product development.

Mark joined Fanatics Betting and Gaming after the company acquired the US Businesses of PointsBet, where he served as Chief Product Officer of PointsBet USA.

Mark joined PointsBet following the company’s acquisition of Banach Technology, where Mark was a co-founder and CEO for six years. Hughes co-founded the company with Rob Reck, Alex Zevenbergen and Hadrien Lepretre. Dublin-based Banach Technology is a sportsbook solutions provider delivering new and innovative products for the sports betting industry.

Mark is an experienced gaming executive, who began his career at Paddy Power in Dublin, Ireland. He worked in various positions and was a senior figure in establishing the Quants department at Paddy Power.
